Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Pietro Cassina bewirtschaftet rund sieben Hektar Rebfläche in Lessona im Alto Piemonte, wobei die Weinberge seit mehreren Generationen im Familienbesitz sind. Umgeben von Wäldern und geschützt durch den Monte Rosa entsteht in diesem von einem Supervulkan geprägten Gebiet ein besonderes Mikroklima für den Anbau von Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina, Erbaluce und Uva Rara. Bei der Bewirtschaftung legt der Betrieb großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, den Schutz der natürlichen Ressourcen und die Biodiversität. Die Erzeugung ist auf elegante Weine ausgerichtet, die das Terroir der Region widerspiegeln.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 12 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Nebbiolo und Vespolina. Der Betrieb beliefert Handel.
