Über den Betrieb
Das englische Weingut Oxney Organic Estate wurde im Jahr 2012 gegründet und liegt in Rye in East Sussex. Auf einer Rebfläche von 14 Hektar bewirtschaftet der Betrieb biologisch zertifizierte Weinberge mit sandigen Lehmböden. Zum Portfolio gehören verschiedene stille und traditionell hergestellte Schaumweine. Die Arbeiten im Weinberg umfassen organische Düngung sowie eine sorgfältige Laubwandpflege. Im Keller setzt das Gut auf eine schonende Verarbeitung mit modernen temperaturkontrollierten Anlagen, wilden Gärungen und einem minimalen Einsatz von Schwefel.
