Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Department 66 wurde im Jahr 2008 von Dave Phinney in der südfranzösischen Gemeinde Maury in der Region Roussillon gegründet. Die Weinberge erstrecken sich über 40 Hektar mit alten Rebstöcken auf Böden aus schwarzem Schiefer und Granitgipfeln in den Pyrenäen. Unter der Leitung von Dave Phinney bewirtschaftet ein kleines Team die Rebflächen und erzeugt konzentrierte Weine aus den Rebsorten Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre und Carignan. Die Weine spiegeln den Charakter von Maury sowie des umliegenden Agly-Tals wider.
