About the estate

The ZINIO Bodegas estate cultivates 400 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Rioja Alta in Uruñuela. The vineyards extend at altitudes between 450 and 590 meters and are closely linked to generations of winegrowing families in the area. The climate is predominantly Mediterranean with Atlantic influences, and the soils range from alluvial formations to clay-limestone compositions. The cultivated grape varieties include Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano, yielding a diverse portfolio of wines within the Rioja DOCa denomination. Farming and winemaking are structured around distinct soil and altitude zones to produce styles ranging from fresh young wines to long-aging reserves.
