About the estate
The Winery Kamara was founded in 2010 by Dimitrios Kioutsoukis and his family on the slopes of Mygdonia in northern Greece. Spanning eleven hectares of vineyards, the estate primarily cultivates Greek grape varieties such as Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, and Malagousia. The vineyards are organically certified and farmed following biodynamic and permaculture principles, relying heavily on manual labor and minimal intervention. Vinification is carried out naturally using indigenous yeasts, without filtration and with minimal addition of sulfites. Depending on the type, the wines are aged in old barriques, amphorae, or stainless steel tanks.

The wine is lively and brisk with fresh citrus, orange, and the snap of jasmine flower to the nose. To the mouth the tastes of rose and yeast are predominant.
