About the estate
The Dutch winery Wijngoed Wilgenhorst is located in Flevoland near Zeewolde, more than three meters below sea level on a chalky clay soil. In 2012, the first 900 vines were planted on the land of the former Zuiderzee, leading to the first harvest of white and red wine in the autumn of 2014. Meanwhile, the vineyard area has expanded to include over 5000 vines that are all in production. The estate produces an annual yield of around 5000 bottles of wine from these grapes.
The eno directory lists 2 wines. The estate sells to retail.
