Wijngaard Berghoven

About the estate

The Wijngaard Berghoven estate is located in Heist-op-den-Berg in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The roots of the enterprise trace back to a long-held passion of the founder, which led to the official establishment of the vineyard in 2004. In April 2005, nearly two thousand vines were planted on a half-hectare plot of land. Following an initial test harvest in 2006, the first official harvest took place in 2007. That same year, the property acquired old stables that were subsequently converted into a winemaking facility.
