The Wijndomein Van Eyck estate is situated in the Flemish Ardennes and manages its vineyards according to organic principles. The winery places a strong emphasis on sustainability, the preservation of biodiversity, and the protection of the natural environment. Traditional viticulture methods are combined with modern techniques to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. To protect and optimize the vineyards, the estate utilizes the Frolight system using infrared LEDs, which was invented by the founder. This technology serves to naturally combat fungal infections such as powdery and downy mildew and botrytis, while also reducing the risk of frost damage in the spring.
