About the estate

The Widerna estate in Dietmannsdorf was founded in 1990 by Alexander in the Retzer Land region and converted to organic production in 1997. The family business cultivates its own vineyards and fields without the use of chemical-synthetic plant protection products. The products are crafted by hand with great care and using resource-saving methods. In addition to wine, the organic farm's assortment includes grains, soy, pumpkin seed oil, herbs, spices, and vegetables. The distribution of the goods takes place, among other channels, through an on-site self-service shop.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Riesling. The estate sells to retail.
