About the estate
The family-run Weinkellerei Paul Nickel & Söhne Inh. Marc Nickel ,Weingut Kaiserstuhl Nickel estate along the German Wine Route was founded in 1959 by the great-grandfather of the current owner. The winery is named after the former vineyard site Hambacher Kaiserstuhl and is located in the Palatinate region. In addition to grapes from its own harvest, the winery also processes purchased grape varieties in autumn to offer a diverse portfolio. The range includes traditional grape varieties such as Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, and Kerner, as well as Regent, Yellow Muskateller, and various Pinot varieties. Alongside elegant white wines, rosé wines, and full-bodied red wines, the selection also features sparkling wine, secco, spirits, liqueurs, and grape juice.
