About the estate

The Weingut Zahn is a traditional family estate in the Saale-Unstrut region that has been cultivating wine for three generations and is managed today by André Zahn. The vines thrive in the Kaatschener Dachsberg and Tultewitzer Bünauer Berg sites, where a ten-member team takes care of the vineyards. As a Breitengrad51 winery, it produces wines according to strict requirements, utilizing stainless steel, large wooden barrels, or barriques depending on the wine style. In addition to winemaking, the portfolio also includes specialties such as spirits, liqueurs, and grape juice.

The eno directory lists 46 wines, mostly from Pinot Gris and Muscaris. The estate sells to retail.
