About the estate
The Wörthmann estate in Lauffen am Neckar looks back on more than 150 years of family tradition in winemaking, passed down from generation to generation. The winery farms its vineyards in various locations such as Rottland, Feldwengert, and Lauer consistently organically and sustainably. Soils made of river gravel, sand, loam, and shell limestone combined with diverse microclimates provide optimal conditions for grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Trollinger. Great emphasis is placed on manual labor, old vines, and gentle, time-intensive vinification in the cellar. The resulting wines reflect their origin and vintage in their character.
The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. The estate sells to horeca.
