About the estate
The Weingut Weyh estate is located in Winningen on the terraced Moselle and is managed by winemaker Peter Weyh. The vineyards extend over steep slate terraces in sites such as Uhlen, Röttgen, Brückstück, Hamm, and Domgarten. The focus of the close-to-nature cultivation is on Riesling, with some vines being over 80 years old. Farming is conducted without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to promote a healthy ecosystem. In the cellar, the hand-harvested grapes are processed gently and fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts.
