About the estate

The Weingut Wendel GbR estate located in Bingen am Rhein-Büdesheim looks back on a long family history that began around the turn of the century with the purchase of the first vineyards by the great-grandparents. Georg Wendel took over the estate in 1930 and, together with his wife Barbara, converted it into a dedicated winegrowing estate focusing on bottled wine sales. In 1975, Birgit and Hermann Wendel took over the operations and further expanded the marketing of bottled wine. The work in the vineyards and in the cellar is carried out by family members along with the assistance of apprentices and temporary workers.
