About the estate

The Weingut Welheimer Hof estate is a family-run winery located in the wine village of Bechtheim in Rhenish Hesse, now managed across seven generations. Across 15 hectares of vineyards, the winegrowing family cultivates vines on loess and clay soils. Three generations work closely together, combining traditional knowledge with modern methods. The estate places great emphasis on sustainable and close-to-nature management to preserve the soils. Trained technicians in viticulture and oenology within the family oversee the vinification and the ongoing development of the wines.
