About the estate

The Weingut W. & J. Weitzel estate is a family business located in Ingelheim am Rhine in the Rheinhessen region. As a master winemaker, Jochen Weitzel is responsible for the entire wine production from harvest to marketing. Mechtild Weitzel manages administration, marketing, customer service, as well as the estate's guest house and wine tavern. Petra Weitzel supports the winery during peak workloads and contributes new ideas. Werner Weitzel, who passed away in 2022, had previously handed over the operation in its current form to his son Jochen.
