The Völcker winery looks back on a long family history with origins dating back to the 16th century, which initially involved the cultivation of the madder plant. Around 1800, the ancestors began producing their own wines at the historic Krapp Mühle, which evolved into today's Fritz Völcker'sche Gutsverwaltung. The estate is now managed in the ninth generation and consistently pursues a sustainable approach to viticulture in harmony with nature. Vinification takes place in historic vaulted cellars from the 16th century, whose natural ventilation and multi-level design enable particularly gentle winemaking without pumping. This creates distinctive wines in Neustadt an der Weinstraße.
