About the estate
The Weingut Vogel estate is a family-run winery managed across generations, cultivating around 6 hectares of vineyards and orchards in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl in Vogtsburg. The vineyards are situated in renowned sites such as Oberbergener Baßgeige and Schelinger Kirchberg on soils composed of volcanic rock and loess. The grape variety portfolio includes Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. Farming is conducted close to nature with considerable manual labor, controlled yield reduction, and selective hand-harvesting. Vinification in the cellar is carried out gently without animal fining agents, resulting in entirely vegan wines.
