About the estate
The Uwe Baumgartner winery is a family-run full-time wine estate located in the wine village of Oberbergen in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl region. During vinification, the estate places great importance on gentle methods to allow each vintage to develop its own character. The dry wines are fully fermented and unsweetened, while the red wines are traditionally fermented on the skins and aged in wooden barrels. The portfolio is completed by regionally produced spirits and liqueurs made from fully ripe fruit.
