About the estate
The family-run winery Weingut und Gästehaus Zur Traube practices steep-slope viticulture along the Middle Moselle. The parcels are distributed across various single vineyard sites such as Brauneberger Juffer or Erdener Treppchen, whose soils are characterized by different types of slate. In addition to Riesling, the grape variety spectrum also includes Blauer Spätburgunder. Cultivating these sun-drenched steep slopes requires a great deal of manual labor and experience in harmony with nature. In the cellar, the must is aged with care and time into characterful wines.
