About the estate

The Staiger winery has been cultivating vineyards in Nierstein in the fourth generation since the beginning of the 20th century. For their work in the vineyard, the family relies on a combination of traditional and new methods to achieve high quality. Since the 2014 vintage, production follows the guidelines of controlled environmentally friendly viticulture. The portfolio comprises about 35 different bottled wines, including red and white varieties in dry, medium-dry, and sweet styles. The estate also features a traditional wine tavern serving regional dishes.
