About the estate
The Schwarz estate looks back on over 300 years of winemaking history in Untertürkheim and is jointly managed by three generations today. Both traditional and international grape varieties thrive in the vineyards located at Untertürkheimer Mönchberg and Altenberg, Rotenberger Schlossberg, and Wangener Berg. The family combines the historic cellar vault and proven craft traditions with new approaches in viticulture and marketing. The estate's operations are complemented by a traditional tavern that has been in operation since 1967.
The eno directory lists 28 wines, mostly from Schiava and Blaufränkisch.
