About the estate
The Weingut Schroth estate in Grünstadt in the Palatinate was established independently by Michael Schroth and currently cultivates around 30 hectares of vineyards in prime locations. The sites such as Asselheimer St. Stephan, Kallstadter Saumagen, and Mühlheimer Feld feature limestone and loam soils and are harvested entirely by hand. In the cellar, the white wines are aged half in stainless steel and half in new barriques to produce complex and characterful wines. The portfolio comprises precise wines with a clear origin, rooted in honest manual labor in the vineyard.
