About the estate

The Sans-lorch winery is a family-run estate based in Nackenheim in Rheinhessen, where three generations live and work together. The estate cultivates six hectares of vineyards in various locations around Nackenheim, including Engelsberg and Schmitts-Kapellchen. The vineyard soils are characterised by red soils with iron compounds as well as calcareous loam and loess soils. The work focuses on close cooperation with nature and a sense of responsibility for the soils and plants. From the grapes of its own vineyards, the estate produces distinctive wines.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Meunier. The estate sells to retail.
