About the estate

The Weingut Richtarsky/ Ludwigshof estate in Grolsheim looks back on a history spanning over seven generations to the year 1770, having originally operated as a mixed agricultural farm. Today, Mario Richtarsky manages the family business in the seventh generation after completing his training in Geisenheim and Bad Kreuznach and gaining practical experience in various wineries. In viticulture, the winery in Rheinhessen relies on traditional and sustainable methods in harmony with nature, which is highlighted by creating flowering areas for wild bees and omitting bottle capsules. The entire family works closely together within the estate, with each member taking on specific responsibilities ranging from vineyard management and cellar work to marketing.
