About the estate

The Petri estate is run in the 14th generation by the brothers Philipp and Maximilian Petri in Herxheim am Berg in the Palatinate region. The vineyards are located in one of the highest-altitude areas of the wine-growing region and are strongly characterized by limestone, elevation, and cool winds. The grape varieties and wine styles feature Burgundian varieties and Riesling, which are crafted through parcel-specific and attentive work. The brothers consciously work with nature to produce wines with clarity, character, and a strong sense of origin. The winery places great value on down-to-earth values, hospitality, and a craft-oriented community spirit.
