About the estate

The Meitzler estate in Wendelsheim in Rheinhessen cultivates a vineyard area of nearly 30 hectares in the fifth generation. The family farms partly stony soils made of red sandstone and volcanic rock, where grape varieties such as Yellow Muskateller, Chardonnay, Riesling, Merlot, Saint Laurent, and Regent thrive. The portfolio includes liter wines, estate wines, complex dry wines, and cuvées. The winery relies on manual labor in the vineyard to produce characterful and fruity wines.
