About the estate

The Meiser estate is a family-run winery based in Gau-Köngernheim in Rhenish Hesse, which has been in operation since 1696 and combines viticulture with arable farming and livestock breeding. The vineyards grow on soils such as limestone, colored sandstone, red sandstone, and loess in sites including Mandelberg, Hölle, Kirchenstück, Herrgottspfad, and Rotenfels. The portfolio focuses on Riesling and Pinot varieties, produced through careful soil management without herbicides and precise hand harvesting in autumn. These wines reflect the diverse origins of the region and are characterized by significant aging potential.
