About the estate

The Weingut Mees GbR estate cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards along the lower Nahe. The family manages sites featuring terrace gravel soils in the Kreuznacher Rosenberg as well as shell limestone and clay marl in the Kreuznacher Paradies. Their diverse range of grape varieties encompasses Burgundies, aromatic varieties, and predominantly Riesling. The entire family works together as a team on winemaking, with young winemaker Lukas Mees taking responsibility and aging select white and red varieties in barriques.
