About the estate
The Markus Brandt winery, located in Dittelsheim-Heßloch in Rheinhessen, started its estate-bottled wine venture in 2010. The vineyards extend across various locations from the Rhine front to the Wonnegau, featuring limestone soils that provide a home for Riesling. The portfolio includes Riesling, Burgundy varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe, as well as rosé and red wines. The winemaker views viticulture as a comprehensive craft, utilizing selective hand harvesting in multiple passes. In the cellar, white wines are aged in modern stainless steel tanks, while red wines mature in barriques.
