The Leitzgen winery has been cultivating vineyards in the Mosel region for four generations and currently farms an area of about 1.6 hectares. The estate focuses exclusively on classic white grape varieties such as Riesling, Elbling, and Rivaner, with a significant portion planted in steep slopes and terraced vineyards including Bremmer Calmont and Neefer Frauenberg. The producer places great emphasis on manual labor in the vineyard, careful pruning, and a combination of gentle and modern cellar techniques. A special passion is dedicated to traditional sparkling wine production, where every bottle is hand- ridded and aged on the lees for extended periods.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Riesling and Elbling.
Unser Tradition Sekt hat einen betörenden Duft nach gelben Früchten, wie Pfirsich bzw. Mango. Im Geschmack präsentiert er sich vollmundig und ausgewogen.
