About the estate
Completed in 2000, the Köninger winery manages eight hectares of vineyards in Kappelrodeck. In the cellar, the wines mature in small French and American oak barrels beneath a hand-built vaulted ceiling made of red bricks. The portfolio includes white wines, a reinterpreted rosé, and red wines that receive their finishing touch through maturation in wooden casks. For the various grape varieties, special attention is paid to soil conditions, as soils such as granite and loess walls sustainably shape the character of the wine.
