About the estate

The Koehler-Ruprecht estate is located in the center of the village of Kallstadt along the German Wine Route in the Palatinate region. Across 12.5 hectares of vineyard area, grapes are selectively harvested by hand and processed with care, with a focus on quality and tradition on soils primarily characterized by limestone. All wines undergo spontaneous fermentation, are consistently aged in old wooden barrels, and benefit from extended yeast contact and late bottling. Well-known vineyard sites of the estate include the Kallstadter Annaberg, Kreidkeller, Saumagen, and Steinacker.
