About the estate
The Weingut Kehrt estate is located in Winden in the south of the Palatinate and is managed across family generations. Originally operated as a mixed farm with livestock and agriculture, the focus has shifted entirely to viticulture and the direct marketing of bottled wine over the past thirty years. In the vineyard, the estate relies on intensive manual labor with quality-oriented pruning, careful vine care, yield reduction, and late harvesting. White wines are produced through gentle harvesting and slow fermentation to preserve aromas, while red wines undergo a traditional long mash fermentation before aging in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks.
