About the estate

The Kaltenthaler estate is located in the Herrnsheim district of Worms in the German wine region of Rheinhessen and is currently managed in the third generation. The grandfather laid the foundation for the business in 1959 by relocating to the outskirts, while subsequent decades saw the conversion to organic farming, among other developments. The portfolio includes carefully selected wines from the surrounding vineyards as well as traditionally crafted vinegars and distillates. This family-run business combines artisanal tradition with sustainable cultivation methods in harmony with nature. In addition to its own winemaking, the enterprise also specializes in the processing and refinement of agricultural raw materials.
