About the estate
The Weingut K.H. Schneider estate is located in Bad Sobernheim at the western edge of the Nahe wine region. The foundation of the family business was laid by Karl Heinz Schneider in 1956 when he began recultivating the Sobernheimer Berg with vines. Today, the estate is managed by Andi and Christoph alongside their parents Marion and Bernd. The four single-vineyards Domberg, Marbach, Königsfels, and Felsenberg form the foundation for producing Riesling and Pinot wines. The winemaking approach combines meticulous manual labor in the vineyards with gentle processing, spontaneous fermentation, and aging in traditional wooden casks in the cellar.
The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Blanc.
