About the estate

The Weingut Jul. Ferd. Kimich estate is located in Deidesheim in the Palatinate region, where the winery has been rooted in the family since 1758 and is currently managed in the eighth generation. The estate cultivates a total of 22 hectares of vineyards in and around Deidesheim, including sites such as Deidesheimer Grainhübel and Deidesheimer Kalkofen. Vineyard management avoids the use of herbicides, relying instead on mechanical weed control and cover crops to promote biodiversity. The historic cellar, which is over 250 years old, houses a combination of modern stainless steel tanks, traditional large wooden casks, and barrique barrels for vinification.
