About the estate
The Weingut Hermann estate has been run by the Hermann family in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl since 1983. The vineyards are situated on higher-lying small terraces with volcanic rock and are farmed sustainably. The grape variety spectrum primarily includes Pinot Noir, along with Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Vinification is carried out by the oenologists Falk and Karin Hermann, who give the wines time for undisturbed development in the cellar. Premium wines such as the Cantus Avis line mature for up to 18 months in Burgundian pièces.
