About the estate

The winemaking tradition of the Häußermann family dates back to 1580. Werner and Inge Häußermann founded the estate in Fellbach in 1972 and relocated the operations to Diefenbach in 1986, where it has been based ever since. In 2006, son Christian and his wife Annette took over the estate and expanded it to include a wooden barrel cellar, among other additions. The vineyards stretch along the western slopes of the Stromberg on Keuper soils, where nearly all grape varieties typical of the region thrive. The estate relies on ecological guidelines for plant protection, operates its own weather station, and pursues climate-neutral farming.
