About the estate

The Grossarth estate is situated in Odernheim am Glan within the Nahe wine region, looking back on a 250-year tradition spanning five generations. The family-run winery cultivates eight hectares of vineyards and operates according to the guidelines of controlled environmentally friendly viticulture. Steep vineyard sites include the Odernheimer Heßweg with slate soils as well as the site below the Disibodenberg monastery featuring mineral-rich mixed slate soils. The product range encompasses crisp Rieslings, creamy Burgundies, robust red wines, and aromatic varieties such as Bacchus and Ehrenfelser. The production relies on meticulous manual labor in the vineyard and gentle grape processing.
