About the estate
The Weingut Gottwald & Sohn estate is located in Lörzweiler in the Rheinhessen wine region and is run as a family business in the third generation. The winery was taken over in 1992 by Thomas Gottwald, who previously worked in Tuscany among other places. Head winemaker Thomas and his son Tobias manage the estate together, placing great emphasis on a careful approach to nature. The portfolio includes various wines sold through the vinothek and the online shop. The offerings are complemented by a seasonal tavern, wine tastings, and events at the winery.
