About the estate

The Funck-Schowalter estate cultivates 10 hectares of vineyards in the Nahe region and represents five generations of winemaking tradition. The grape variety portfolio includes Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Gris, among others. Vineyard sites comprise Waldböckelheimer Kronenfels, Mühlberg and Kirchberg, Schloßböckelheimer Königsfels and Mühlweg, as well as Weinsheimer Katergrube and Kellerberg. The wines are aged in stainless steel, wood, and barrique. The style ranges from easy-drinking wines for everyday enjoyment to complex wines for elevated drinking demands.
