About the estate

The Ernst Bretz estate, located in Bechtolsheim in Rheinhessen, looks back on a history of over 300 years and is currently run in the tenth generation. Across 40 hectares of vineyards spread over four municipalities, wines are crafted using a combination of manual labor, modern technology, and experience. The family blends traditional knowledge with new ideas to produce characterful wines that reflect their origin. The portfolio ranges from classic regional varieties to international grape sorts.
