About the estate

The Edgar Orben winery is based in Wallhausen in the Nahe region and looks back on a family tradition dating back to 1586, with its current structure established through marriage in 1985. Covering a vineyard area of 2.5 hectares, the estate cultivates sites in Wallhausen, Sommerloch, and Roxheim. The wide distribution of the plots shapes the diverse flavor profile of the wines. All vineyard management measures focus on maintaining the health of the vines, soil, and environment, complemented by careful vinification. The estate refrains from high yields in order to produce distinctive wines with character.

The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Riesling and Chardonnay.
