About the estate
The Weingut Bernd GbR estate in Gau-Algesheim, in the Rheinhessen region, cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards. The roots of the family business go back nearly 200 years into the 19th century, with an even longer winemaking tradition in Dromersheim. Following the relocation to the current site in 1989, the winery is managed across generations and focuses exclusively on viticulture and vine grafting. The vineyards are situated across various sites featuring soils composed of limestone marl, loess, and clay marl. The grape variety portfolio includes Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, and Merlot, among others.
