Weingut Antony

About the estate

The traditional Weingut Antony cultivates a vineyard area of over 15 hectares in Bechtheim in the Wonnegau region of Rheinhessen and looks back on a family history in winemaking dating back to 1590. The estate focuses primarily on white wines such as Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, supplemented by varieties such as Scheurebe, St. Laurent, Portugieser, and Dornfelder. The vines grow in sites such as the Bechtheimer Geyersberg and the Bechtheimer Hasensprung on loess- and limestone-rich soils. Cultivation is carried out in harmony with nature, supported by typical regional climatic conditions featuring cold nights and warm days at harvest time.
