About the estate

The Weingur Kolb GbR winery in Rheinhessen looks back on three hundred years of tradition in viticulture and is currently managed by the family in the ninth and tenth generation. Across 18 hectares of vineyards situated in the municipalities of Weinolsheim, Dalheim, Uelversheim, and Eimsheim with loess-loam and clay-marl soils, various white and red grape varieties are cultivated. The portfolio includes white and red wines as well as traditional method sparkling wines, grape brandies, and juices. In the cellar, traditional knowledge is combined with modern technology, with white wines maturing in stainless steel tanks and red wines in wooden barrels. Sales and distribution are handled directly by the grower family.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Gris. The estate sells to retail.
