About the estate

The Weingärtner Esslingen eG estate, based in Esslingen am Neckar in the Württemberg region, unites 50 family operations that jointly cultivate a vineyard area of 78 hectares. Around 20 hectares of this total consist of historical, terraced steep slopes along the Neckar Valley, which benefit from a distinct microclimate. The portfolio comprises 65 percent red wines and 35 percent white wines. Alongside native varieties such as Lemberger and Trollinger, international grapes like Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive in these steep sites, yielding powerful and full-bodied wines.
