About the estate
The Víno z Vajrabu, Štefan Chlebo winery cultivates a traditional family vineyard on the historic Pukanec wine hill known as Vajrab, which derives its name from German mining settlers. Viticulture has been maintained by the family for at least five generations, with a major new vineyard established in 1983 by Vladimír Schwarz. The cultivated grape varieties primarily include Pesecká leánka, Grüner Veltliner, and St. Laurent. A distinct specialty of the estate is a wine produced from local black mulberries. Today, the winery focuses on enhancing this location and sharing its production with interested consumers.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Pesecká Leánka and Grüner Veltliner.
