About the estate
The Víno Filip winery was founded in 2012 as a small family estate in Sedlec in the Morava region, building upon a multi-generational family tradition. The annual production reaches up to 10,000 bottles. The estate cultivates grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, and Neuburger in its vineyards, supplemented by grapes sourced from regional growers. The local limestone and sandy soils, combined with the regional microclimate, shape the character of the wines. During vinification, the estate emphasizes gentle grape processing, modern technology, and maturation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels.
